Privacy Policy
How GOAPP.net CO. collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you use the GOAPP.net website and our products and services.
GOAPP.net CO. (“GOAPP”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit goapp.net, contact us, or order our products and services, and how we use and safeguard it. By using the GOAPP.net website you agree to the practices described here, which should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1 Who we are
GOAPP.net CO. is a digital studio and AI lab registered in Kuwait, building mobile apps, websites, brand identities and AI products. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, GOAPP is the data controller responsible for your personal data. Our contact details are set out in section 13.
2 The data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact & enquiry data — your name, email address, phone number and the contents of any message you send us through our contact form, WhatsApp, email or booking request.
- Order & account data — details you provide when you place an order or register for a GOAPP product (such as GOAPP Cards / NFC), including delivery address and order history.
- Payment data — billing information needed to process a transaction. Card details are entered with and handled by our payment provider, not stored by GOAPP (see section 6).
- Technical & usage data — IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and how you interact with the site, collected automatically through server logs and cookies (see section 7).
3 How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiries, quotes and booking requests;
- process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and provide customer support;
- manage your account and any products or services you use;
- operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services;
- send transactional communications (such as order confirmations); and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages without a lawful basis to do so.
4 Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract with you (for example, to fulfil an order), where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving our business (such as securing our website and responding to enquiries), where we need to comply with a legal obligation, or where you have given your consent.
5 Sharing and service providers
We share personal data only as needed to run our services, and we require our providers to protect it. These may include:
- Payment processing — TAP Payments, to take and validate card payments;
- Hosting & infrastructure — our website and applications are hosted on cloud platforms (including Vercel) and our email is served from our managed hosting environment;
- Operational tools — services that help us deliver orders and communicate with you, such as email delivery.
We may also disclose personal data where required to do so by law, to enforce our Terms & Conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of GOAPP, our customers, or others.
6 Payments
Online payments are processed through the TAP online payment gateway. When you pay, your card details are submitted directly to TAP over an encrypted connection and are handled in accordance with TAP’s own terms and privacy policy. GOAPP does not store full card numbers on its servers. We retain only the order and transaction reference information needed to manage your purchase and meet our accounting and legal obligations.
7 Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, to keep you signed in to an account or to remember your language preference), and may use analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
8 Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy — for instance, to fulfil your order, maintain your account, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, tax or accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
9 How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections across our website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it;
- object to or ask us to restrict certain processing; and
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 13. We will respond within a reasonable period.
11 Children’s privacy
The GOAPP.net website and our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
